Peyton Aldridge hit four of the Davidsons 12 3-pointers and the Wildcats snapped Daytons eight-game wining streak and handed the 22nd-ranked Flyers their first A-10 loss in a 77-60 drubbing at Belk Arena. Davidson (13-4, 4-2 A-10) did not hit its season average of 82.4 points, but only because it took its foot off the gas after building a healthy lead. Sibert kept the Flyers close for a brief period, as his three-point play cut the deficit to 28-25 near the midway point, but the Wildcats were too much from long range. Oskar Michelsen hit one of his three first-half 3-pointers for a 40-27 cushion, and it was a 45-33 difference at the break. Opponents were scoring just 58.1 points against the Flyers coming in, and the Wildcats hit that mark with over 13 minutes to play.
