For years the Sharks had those awkward-looking uniform numbers on the upper-right chest area of their jerseys. Last season the numbers were supplanted by the teams 25th-anniversary patch (which in turn was supplanted by the Stanley Cup Finals patch when the Sharks faced the Penguins in the championship round of the postseason). Now that the patch has been removed this season, are the numbers returning to the jersey? Nope.
