Trevor Booker scored eight points with 15 boards. Minnesota was led by Andrew Wiggins and Mo Williams 20 points each in its 11th straight loss. Utah held a 47-37 rebounding edge and outscored Minnesota 46-36 in the paint. The Jazz took a 47-41 lead into the break after finishing the second period on a 12-4 run. Back-to-back 3s from Burke and Ian Clark started the run, and it was punctuated by Gordon Haywards dunk as time expired. In the third quarter, Utah used a 10-0 run to build its largest lead at 20. During the surge, Gobert scored three points, grabbed three rebounds and blocked a shot. The Jazz led 77-61 after three. Gobert scored 11 points, blocked five shots and grabbed five rebounds just in the third. Wiggins and Williams combined to score 10 points in the first three minutes of the final quarter in a 10-2 run that pulled the Timberwolves within eight and forced a Jazz timeout. Minnesota did not get any closer after that. A Derrick Favors slam dunk out of the timeout extended the lead back to double digits, and it remained there for the rest of the game. Burke scored 11 points in the final nine minutes to help the Jazz put the game away. The Timberwolves had a 21-20 edge after one quarter, led by six points from Wiggins. Utah shot just 38.9 percent in the period, but they were 4-of-6 from long distance and scored seven second-chance points. Game Notes The Jazz have won three straight against Minnesota ...
