The NFL Draft takes place in Chicago on Thursday night, when the best players in collegiate football will find out which NFL team they will end up representing. That led us to thinking what might happen if another sports players were also subject to a draft before they entered the league. So, with a little bit (okay, a lot!) of artistic licence, lets take a look at which Premier League players would be selected if the National Football League drafted association footballers. Richard Graves Mock Draft SSN HQs man in Chicago delivers his verdict 1. Los Angeles Rams select Riyad Mahrez (FW - Leicester Foxes) - The Rams need an exciting playmaker, and who better than the PFA/Heisman Player of the Year with his 17 goals and 11 assists. Hell fit in well in Hollywood as well.2. Philadelphia Eagles select Mesut Ozil (MF - Arsenal Gunners) - Another team needing an offensive spark, and he will create chances galore for the Eagles offense - at a record level, perhaps?3. San Diego Chargers select Harry Kane (FW - Tottenham Hotspurs) - They need a points scorer and there is no one better available in this draft. Wes Morgan is just the bolster to bolster a defense 4. Dallas Cowboys select Wes Morgan (DF - Leicester Foxes) - Nobodys stock has risen more in the last 12 months than Big Wesley. Hes ideal for the Cowboys who need a stopper in the heart of their defense.5. Jacksonville Jaguars select Ngolo Kante (MF - Leicester Foxes) - The Foxes are dominating the draft and Kante gives the Jaguars a huge boost on both sides of the ball. He will rack up the tackles on defense but can also play on offence as well.6. Baltimore Ravens select Sergio Aguero (FW - Manchester Citizens) - He comes with a few injury questions, but the talent is unquestioned. Should be able to finish off plenty of scoring plays in his rookie season. Sky Sports Digital Mock Draft We deliver our verdict from 1-32 7. San Francisco 49ers select Toby Alderweireld (DF - Tottenham Hotspurs) - Another team with plenty of holes to fill but the one-season Spurs man has done enough to prove he is one of the most talented defenders available.8. Cleveland Browns select Jamie Vardy (FW - Leicester Foxes) - They traded down in the hope of still getting an offensive spark, and it worked to perfection. He went under the radar early in his career but no doubting him anymore.9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Hector Bellerin (DF - Arsenal Gunners) - They need defensive help, especially down the flanks, and the Spanish graduate has impressed many with his play at both ends of the field. Who better to protect a leaky defense 10. New York Giants select David De Gea (GK - Manchester Red Devils) - Protection, protection, protection - thats what the Giants need, and its exactly what they get.11. Chicago Bears select Dele Alli (MF - Tottenham Hotspurs) - Surprising to see him drop to the Bears, given his undoubted talent. Maybe recent temperamental issues caused teams to take him off their board? Previous No1 pick QBs Looking back at the good and bad of QB No1 picks 12. New Orleans Saints select Robert Huth (DF - Leicester Foxes) - Another team in need of a big guy down the middle. Huth might be a bit of a reach here, but the talent pool in his position is pretty thin at the moment.13. Miami Dolphins select Dimitri Payet (MF - West Hammers) - Dream scenario for the Dolphins, who needed an offensive spark and a special teams whizz. They get it, all rolled into one French package. Dimitri Payet perfect for special plays 14. Oakland Raiders select Eden Hazard (FW - Chelsea Blues) - Its like Al Davis is alive still. So much talent to pick from and the Raiders pick a player who has almost disappeared this season. Will he be another Raiders first-round disappointment?15. Tennessee Titans select Alexis Sanchez (MF - Arsenal Gunners) - Marcus Mariota needs someone to connect with and the little Chilean should be a perfect complement. Also See:Sky Live: NFL DraftBeginners guide to the DraftDraft Day momentsSky Sports Digital Mock DraftWholesale Soccer Jerseys . "It just felt like it was my time to move on," she said in a phone interview from her hometown of Burlington, Ont.ATLANTA -- Senior forward Antonio Campbell went for game highs of 25 points and 12 rebounds Friday as Ohio University beat Georgia Tech 67-61.The Bobcats second straight win in an Atlantic Coast Conference gym came down to their big man, long balls and Ohios experience over the youngest team in the nation.Georgia Tech (2-1) led 32-27 at halftime and outrebounded Ohio 48-37 overall, but the Bobcats (3-0) made seven 3-pointers in the second half. Thats when fifth-year senior Kenny Kaminski scored all 15 of his points from beyond the arc.Fourth-year junior point guard Jaaron Simmons added 17 points and nine assists, and the Bobcats three elders combined for all 10 of their made treys.Campbell added three, same as Techs total. The 6-foot-9 reigning Mid-American Conference player of the year wasnt around when Ohio won 61-55 at Maryland in 2007, yet said, We were pretty excited to come in and play against an ACC school. Theyre big, athletic. All teams in the MAC arent like that. The Yellow Jackets -- who started two true freshmen and had four players making their third career starts -- were led by junior center Ben Lammers career-high 22 points, 11 rebounds and four blocked shots. He held his own one-on-one against Campbell.Ohio took a difference approach. After watching tape of Techs first two games, in which powerfully built guard Josh Okogie scored 18 points each time, Bobcats head coach Saul Phillips stationed sophomore guard Jordan Dartis on Okogie and sagged on him.Theyd made seven 3s (in the first two games), Phillips said of Tech. We tried to make sure our help was a little exaggerated ... we got guys whove played a lot together.Okogie went 2 of 13 while scoring five points, and the Jackets in the second half shot just 27.8 percent (10 of 36).After Kaminski made a pair on back-to-back possessions to give Ohio a 49-46 lead with 11:02 left in the game, Tech never led again and tied only once -- on Jacksons short jumper at the 8:11 mark. From there, the Bobcats stretched the game out.We went iin talking the entire time about, `Youve got to take the 3 out, and we did a good job in the first half, said Tech coach Josh Pastner.dddddddddddd In the second half, Kaminski got loose and hit a couple big shots that changed the complexion of the game. That was the big difference right there.BIG PICTUREOhio: The Bobcats are better when Campbell and Simmons are clicking. Simmons struggled in the first half, scoring nine points on 3-of-9 shooting with five turnovers -- mostly against 6-8 Tech swingman Abdoulaye Gueye. He made half his six shots in the second half, rang up six of his nine assists and turned the ball over just once. Theres no question that that one of the biggest narratives of this game is weve got guys that have played a lot together, Phillips said.Georgia Tech: Senior forward Quinton Stephens was 1 of 9 Friday for six points, and hes 7 of 26 in three games. Fellow senior Josh Heath, potentially the starting point guard, will sit out one more game as part of a four-game suspension for violating team rules.HOW ABOUT A DO-OVERWith Stephens offensive struggles, Pastner gave him a break in the second half. I thought he looked tired (on offense), the coach said. But he was doing a good job on Kaminski, who got hot. I regret subbing him ... that ones on me.STOCK OPTIONAt 6-9, 244 pounds, Campbell has eyes on the next level of the game, which may have eyes on him. Theres a reason NBA teams are looking at him, Phillips said. He lost 30 pounds since last year; he was chunky ... he may be a second-round prospect now with maybe some ability to slide up.UP NEXTOhio: The Bobcats will be idle for a week before playing host Nov. 25 to Tennessee Tech, which Georgia Tech beat 70-55 in the season opener.Georgia Tech: The Yellow Jackets will play the fourth of five home games to start the season Tuesday when they face Sam Houston State. Ohio beat SHSU 96-75 Monday. ' ' '
