WASHINGTON -- The Washington Nationals have put first baseman Ryan Zimmerman on the 15-day disabled list with a bruised left wrist.The NL East leaders recalled outfielder Brian Goodwin from Triple-A Syracuse before Saturday nights game against San Francisco.The move with Zimmerman was retroactive to Aug. 1, a day after he was hit in the wrist by a pitch from Giants closer Santiago Casilla in the ninth inning of a game in San Francisco.Zimmerman has been struggling with injuries this season. According to the arrest affidavit, obtained by the Wichita Eagle, Randle repeatedly told the deputy: I will kill you, I swear on my life and everything that I have. I will kill you when I get out.The 24-year-old Randle, a native of Wichita, has had a string of run-ins with the law, beginning with a 2014 shoplifting arrest. He has also been charged in Kansas with a casino disturbance and with backing his car into three people, and he was charged in neighboring Sumner County in Kansas in a Novembber disturbance at the Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane.ddddddddddddn November, Randle was suspended for four games by the NFL under the leagues personal-conduct policy.
