TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals were still gathering information Monday afternoon about wide receiver Michael Floyds arrest on multiple charges after he was found asleep at the wheel of his car.Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said during his Monday news conference that he had spoken with Floyd to gather the facts of what happened and determine what our options are going forward. Arians said he believed the team and league cant hand down formal punishment to Floyd until the case has run its course.Well determine all that at a later date, said Arians, who said he expects to have more information when he meets the media Wednesday.Floyd was found behind the wheel of his vehicle at an intersection in Scottsdale at 2:48 a.m. Monday. He was charged with obstructing a roadway, DUI impaired to the slightest degree, DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration over .08 and failure to obey a police officer. He was booked and then released from the Scottsdale jail at 4:55 a.m.Arians said that no teammates were with Floyd. We always talk about not being the guy and making correct decisions, Arians said.In the last year of his contract, Floyd is on pace to have the worst statistical season of his five-year career. The former first-round pick has 33 catches for 446 yards - a pace of 41 catches and 549 yards, both career lows.Arians called Floyds season very inconsistent and declined to comment on how it could impact his future being in a contract year.Thats too obvious, Arians said.As word spread throughout the locker room Monday, some of his teammates said that while they didnt know enough to offer an expanded comment about the incident, they thought Floyd was a good person. Its unfortunate, defensive tackle Frostee Rucker said. Im sure hell learn from it. I dont know everything about it but Mikes a good kid and I hope he learns from it, and I wish him all the best.Fellow defensive lineman Calais Campbell expressed his hope that Floyd can get through the incident.Just hope hes OK, Campbell said. Great guy. Love playing with him. Just hope hes OK. I dont really know much about the whole situation. I havent had a chance to talk to him yet. Mikes a great teammate. Nike Shoes Cheap Australia . The Cricket Association of Bihar (CAB) has submitted a plea to the Supreme Court seeking contempt action against BCCI president Anurag Thakur, secretary Ajay Shirke and former judge Markandey Katju for their vilification campaign against the Supreme Court. CAB secretary Aditya Vermas plea comes a day after the BCCI filed a petition seeking a review of the Supreme Courts verdict in which most of the Lodha Committees recommendations had been approved. It is understood that Vermas petition is likely to be heard next week.Verma alleged that Thakur, Shirke and Katju, appointed to counsel the BCCI on the Supreme Court verdict, were trying to stonewall the reforms. He contended there was an attempt at scandalising the Court and lowering its dignity in the eyes of the public at large and which would also amount to a direct interference in the administration of justice. That the intentions of the BCCI officers are mala fide is evident from the media campaign that is being carried out at their behest, Verma stated in his petition. Almost on a daily basis statements are being made which are not innocent criticism of the judgment passed by this Honble Court but an elaborate vilification campaign undertaken through the powerful tool of the media with a view to drum up public opinion that the judiciary of the country is transgressing its limits.Verma also referred to several media reports that published Katjus statements criticising the Supreme Courts judgment. Katju had called the verdict unconstitutional and illegal, while also termiing the Lodha panel null and void.dddddddddddd Verma stated that Katjus remarks were clearly libelous and in defiance of the judgment. The Contemnor No. 3 [Katju] who has been a part of the judicial system is well aware of the binding nature of the judgments passed by this Honble Court, Verma said. It is therefore, all the more deplorable that the Contemnor no.3 has been making the members of the judiciary sitting targets of his vile comments.Verma also objected to Thakurs absence in the meeting with the Lodha Committee on August 9. While Shirke attended the meeting, Thakur, a member of parliament with the ruling party, BJP, informed of his unavailability with the parliament being in session. Verma also alleged that Thakur had lowered the authority of the Supreme Court by alluding to judicial interference in the BCCIs affairs. On August 11, 2016 Mr. Anurag Thakur, President BCCI, made the following statement - People who have never played the game, they are trying to govern the Board. Efforts are being made to cut BCCIs roots. This statement tends to lower the authority of the Honble Supreme Court within the meaning of criminal contempt defined in section 2 (c) of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.Vermas petition following the IPL 2013 corruption scandal had triggered a slew of courtroom battles that culminated in the creation of the Lodha Committee to initiate structural reforms within the BCCI.
