MINNEAPOLIS -- The Mariners have made a pair of roster moves so Jeremy Bonderman can make his first major league appearance since 2010. The right-hander is set to start Sunday against the Minnesota Twins after coming back from elbow and shoulder problems. To make room on the 25-man roster, Seattle placed first baseman Justin Smoak on the 15-day disabled list because of an oblique strain on his right side. Smoak was injured May 25, but the move is retroactive to Thursday because he was used as a pinch-hitter Wednesday at San Diego. To make room on the 40-man roster, the Mariners designated minor league infielder Vinnie Catricala, who was at Double-A. Also Sunday, Seattle traded minor leaguer Francisco Martinez to the Detroit Tigers for a player to be named or cash considerations. Scarpe Asics Offerta . 9.
